California new-crop shipments reached 1,553 units (10,000-lb units) for the week, up 791% week over week and 422% above the 5-year median, per USDA movement reports. California yellow jumbo FOBs are mostly $12.00-13.00, 50 lb sacks, per USDA shipping-point reports dated June 1. Oregon shipments fell to 2 units, down 99% versus the 5-year median, per USDA movement reports, consistent with the Northwest storage crop at or near its seasonal end.
- Georgia yellow jumbo: mostly $23.00-24.00, 40 lb cartons (USDA shipping-point, June 1). Highest-quoted FOB in the digest, running at a meaningful premium to all other domestic origins in the market this week.
- Texas yellow jumbo: mostly $13.00-14.00, 50 lb sacks (USDA shipping-point, last available as of May 19). Movement is 438% above the 5-year median, up 5% week over week, per USDA movement reports. The Texas FOB series has not updated since May 19.
- New Mexico yellow jumbo: $13.00-15.00, 50 lb sacks (USDA shipping-point, June 1). No mostly qualifier published for this series.
- Idaho-Eastern Oregon yellow medium, 50 lb sacks: the storage crop has moved past its August-to-April window; its last shipping-point quote was April 23, so no fresh FOB is posting.
- Mexico imports: 456 units (10,000-lb), week of June 1, per USDA movement reports. The primary import channel this week, well ahead of Canada (33 units, up 77% week over week and 342% above the 5-year median) and Peru (6 units, week of May 26).
