Georgia Spring Cartons Lead at $23.00-24.00 as Northwest Storage Winds Down
Georgia spring-crop yellow jumbo at mostly $23.00-24.00, 40-lb cartons, leads the domestic market. Oregon storage shipments near zero as the Northwest crop ends. Texas and California new-crop sacks quote $13.00-15.00 per USDA shipping-point.

The Northwest storage crop is at or near the end of its run: Oregon domestic shipments fell 99.9% on the week to just 2 (10,000-lb units), 84% below the 5-year median per USDA movement data. Idaho shipments pulled back 39% on the week to 37 (10,000-lb units), though volume remains 342% above the 5-year median. Georgia's spring new-crop leads the priced market at mostly $23.00-24.00 per 40-lb carton, per USDA shipping-point reports.

- Georgia yellow jumbo, 40-lb cartons: mostly $23.00-24.00 per USDA shipping-point (2026-05-18). Spring-crop product at the high end of the domestic market this week.
- Texas yellow jumbo, 50-lb sacks: mostly $13.00-14.00 per USDA shipping-point (2026-05-18). Active new-crop origin. New Mexico shipments surged 200% on the week to 153 (10,000-lb units), still 64% below the 5-year median for the date per USDA movement data.
- California yellow jumbo, 50-lb sacks: mostly $13.00-15.00 per USDA shipping-point (2026-05-18). Quoting in line with Texas on the low end.
- Washington yellow jumbo, 50-lb sacks: $13.00-15.00 per USDA shipping-point (2026-05-15). Quote is three days prior to the issue date. Most Northwest storage-crop product is in late-season rotation.
- Canada border crossings: 33 (10,000-lb units) for the week of 2026-05-18, up 727% vs the 5-year median and 69% on the week per USDA movement data. Mexico crossings at 308 (10,000-lb units) remain the dominant import channel.
Data: Thirty-eight series, including Wisconsin, Central Wisconsin, Columbia Basin and Mexico-South Texas, have not updated in more than two weeks. Treat any figures from those origins as stale.
